Database mapping of all types of third-party CDMs

Sudalys creates maps for databases from all third-party Conceptual Data Models (CDMs). This mission involves understanding the structure and logic of existing CDMs, so that they can be effectively integrated into the CDMs of the GISs for telecommunications used by our customers.

Transformation into different versions of GraceTHD (Very High Speed)

GraceTHD has become the standard conceptual data model used by local authorities and operators to manage telecommunications networks in France.

Sudalys has acquired genuine expertise in the model and its evolution. We are able to transform data from various sources into GraceTHD-compatible formats, and to import data from GraceTHD into third-party databases.

We also provide automatic data verification using tools specifically developed by our teams. These checks ensure the conformity of databases and the control of technical information linked to the construction or operation of a fibre optic telecommunications infrastructure.

Field surveys and mapping of optical housing

The accuracy of GIS for telecommunications depends on its ability to accurately represent infrastructures in the field.

That's why Sudalys conducts rigorous field surveys, particularly on optical housing, to accurately map fibre optic splicing locations. This data not only documents connections, but also facilitates the complete reconstruction of optical pathways, ensuring optimal network management.

Reconstruction and improvement of reliability of fibre optic circuits

This final step is crucial to creating an accurate, usable GIS repository for telecommunications. Using existing data and field surveys of fibre optic splicing locations, we reconstruct each optical pathway with optimum precision, virtually recreating the fibre pathways to faithfully reflect the reality on the ground.

At Sudalys, we use specialised tools to model these lightpaths directly in the network operating systems. This mission also includes data reliability, with meticulous verification and consistency checks. Every piece of information is thus validated and corrected to ensure that lightpaths and their assignments are accurately represented, an essential element for efficient network management and maintenance.
